Welcome to the Red Light, Green Light Arena, where players put their reflexes to the test. The arena consists of

  • Three Player Stations – Each player rotates a mechanical shaft to advance.
  • Ultrasonic Sensor System – Detects movement when the red light is on, adding to the challenge.
  • Game Master Mechanism – Controls the light changes, deciding who moves and who gets caught!

HOW TO PLAY !!

Master the Game & Conquer the Challenge!

🎮 Step 1: Get Your Handle.

Each player stands at their designated station and grips the rotation handle. This will be your key to advancing in the game.

🚦 Step 2: Game Starts – The Doll Rotates

The mechanical doll will begin rotating at random intervals, controlling the game’s rhythm.

🟢 Step 3: Move on Green Light
  • When the green light turns on, rotate your handle to move forward.
  • The faster you rotate, the quicker you progress toward the finish line.
đź”´ Step 4: Freeze on Red Light
  • The red light signals a stop—immediately stop rotating!
  • If you move while the red light is on, the ultrasonic sensor will detect it.
🚨 Step 5: Get Caught? You're Out!
  • If the system detects movement during the red light, your station’s OUT LED will turn on.
  • This means you’re eliminated for that round! Stay sharp and react fast to stay in the game.

🏆 Step 6: Reach the Finish Line & Win!
  • The first player to reach the goal without getting caught wins! Precision, timing, and quick reflexes are your best allies.

Who We Are?

We are a passionate team of mechanical engineering students of Faculty of Engineering University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. on a mission to transform classic games into real-world experiences. By merging mechanics with interactive gameplay, we aim to inspire the next generation of young minds through hands-on learning and fun!

Why This Project?

The childhood game Red Light, Green Light is all about movement, reaction, and precision. We’ve taken it a step further—bringing it to life with rotating shafts, ultrasonic sensors, and innovative engineering. Designed especially for school children, our game fosters engagement, motor skills, and STEM learning in an exciting way.

The iconic *Red Light, Green Light* game from *Squid Game* served as our creative spark. While we have reimagined it with mechanical components and interactive motion detection, its suspenseful and thrilling nature inspired us to craft a real-world playable version.
